2007 marks the 96th anniversary of MacLure’s Cabs, founded in 1911 by Donald C MacLure making Maclure’s Cabs the oldest cab company in the Lower Mainland. MacLure’s Cabs initially provided tours around Stanley Park and serviced Vancouver and surrounding areas and eventually the Vancouver International Airport. Awarded the Airport contract in 1968 until 1980 meant MacLure’s Cabs were exclusively allowed to pick up passengers from the Vancouver International Airport. Currently YVR requires all operators working from the Airport to undergo special training in order to provide service to passengers who are elderly or disabled.Here at MacLure's Cabs we aim to provide great service, and our service is only as good as the experiences we have with our customers.
